Minelab includes “feet” on their SD and GP control boxes and the M90-50 stand can be installed to 2 of those feet, using the fasteners and brackets supplied. The image shows an M90-50 stand installed to the rear feet of a Minelab 3000 metal detector, however, the M90-50 might have been fitted to the front feet so giving an increase if “lift” to the control box.
In operation the centre of gravity of the metal detector control box of SD and GP Minelab metal detectors is relatively high when placed on the ground and the M90-50 stand was designed with this in mind. For those who want a stand that provides a greater amount of “lift”, the M90-100 stand is available, which raises a Minelab SD or GP control box about 100mm above the ground.
As with other QIPIX metal detector stands the G90-50 is manufactured from aluminium to minimise weight and provide a durable product that may also be used near water.
